The partners have put together a unique mix of know-how and knowledge ranging from originating and managing private equity projects, managing equity and commodity portfolios and providing asset valuations for sell side as well as corporate finance purposes.

Ing. Jan Blaško, MBA (1964)

Graduated from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering at Czech Technical University in 1990. Gained his broker licence in 1993 and completed the Executive MBA at the University of Chicago in 2001. Jan spent 14 years in a variety of management roles at PPF, being responsible for brokerage, asset management and ALM in Česká pojišťovna and PPF. Between 2000 and 2004, Jan acted, among other responsibilities, as a Chief Investment Officer in Česká pojišťovna. Jan was also a Deputy Chairman of Prague Stock Exchange and enjoyed three years developing Home Credit, a start-up, in China in 2005-2008. Jan closed his PPF’s period as Chief Investment Officer in 2010.

Ing. Jan Schiesser, MA (1973)

Graduated from Central European University in Essex and Budapest in 1997, completed his finance studies in 1998 at Masaryk University. From 1997, Jan played key roles in ATLANTIK FT, a brokerage firm, firstly as head analyst, then Director and lastly CEO and Chairman of the Board of Directors. From 2007, Jan was responsible for the development of brokerage and asset management services in the financial division of KKCG. Jan left KKCG group in 2009.

Geoffrey Pisani Bencini (1954)

Geoffrey, in 33 years rich profesional career, acted in senior bankers positions in such areas as risk, branch development, retail banking and credit management. Between 1998 and 2004, Geoffrey held various Executive Management positions (Executive Head Chairman/CEO's Office as well as Chairman, secretary and member on various internal committees). He was a director for several years of Growth Investments Limited a subsidiary of Middlesea Insurance plc. During his long banking career, Mr. Pisani Bencini attended numerous local and overseas seminars, conferences and specialized courses including Executive Development courses organized by MCE EUROPE of Brussels and INSEAD of France as well as a Credit Analyses course by MOODY's Investment Services. Geoffrey is also eminent member on a leading foundation for the protection of Maltese cultural heritage.

Vanessa Shi (1980)

After graduating with an international finance degree in Guangzhou, China in 2004, Vanessa worked as personal assistant to the CEO of a German publicly traded IT company RIB AG. Between 2006 and 2010, Vanessa worked for PPF Group, firstly as a personal assistant to the CEO of its Chinese branch with a focus on consumer finance, then in Hong Kong as an investor relationship manager. Since 2010, Vanessa has been working as Chief Operating Officer in Elenberg Trade Co., Ltd.

Ing. Petr Voráček(1975)

Graduated from the Faculty of Finance and Accounting at University of Economics in Prague in 2000. Started his professional career in KPMG and afterwards acted in senior positions in the area of financial management in Telefónica, PPF and Home Credit. Between 2006 and 2010, Petr participated in developing Home Credit in China as a Finance manager and CFO. Since 2011, Petr acted for TUFFIEH FUNDS as a Director of Smart Factoring, CFO in EUROCLINICUM Group and was responsible for restructuring and refinancing of C.S.CARGO Group and EUROCLINICUM Group.
